Making An Entrance
73 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra
The Brief
South Haven entered the Canberra market in 2016 to create an impact on the commercial office market. We saw an opportunity to activate our brand and have a positive impact in a growing Canberra City.
This project was to transform a tired and neglected building to provide high-end amenities and beautiful communal spaces for all occupants. Our experience and research tell us that quality spaces add value to a business and enhance their success, even improving staff recruitment and retention.
We wanted South Haven to be known in Canberra for enabling successful outcomes for tenants by creating rewarding spaces.
The Works
- Upgrade of front entry façade, with modern signage and new front entrance
- Upgrade of external terrace area including landscape planter installation and new paving
- Repurposing of existing tenancy into modern foyer with business lounge, espresso bar, green wall, and alternating art exhibition
- Construction of new tenancy area
- Amenity upgrade
The Outcome
A beautifully transformed building with a striking façade and entry, high-end amenities and inspiring co-working spaces.
The building has now been re-positioned in the market which, along with the new tram stop at its doorstep, will translate into a fully leased space.
Tenant Testimonial
“We feel very comfortable in the beautiful space that South Haven have created and are incredibly happy with our café space in the newly refurbished ground foyer. We look forward to a long relationship with South Haven!”
