Many Zoos, museums and art galleries across Australia have opened their virtual doors online to keep us entertained during lockdown.

Below are a list of our favourite virtual experiences.

Public Art Galleries Association of Victoria

The Public Art Galleries Association of Victoria has created a portal which will take you to all the online experiences its member galleries offer, including podcasts, virtual tours and projects for kids. With 25 member galleries to choose from you’ll be kept entertained for days on end.

Parks and Wildlife Western Australia

Parks and Wildlife Western Australia have multiple Google Views that you can explore, including walking trails, waterfalls, gorges and lookouts.

Great Barrier Reef

Explore the Great Barrier Reef with world renowned, David Attenborough. This unique online experience takes you on an interactive journey through our famous reef across 5 exciting chapters.

Melbourne Zoo

Melbourne Zoo are bringing their animals to homes around the world with 24/7 animal live feeds and updates. Live feeds include koalas, lions, giraffes, zebras, penguins and snow leopard cubs. New Keeper talks are also released every Monday where you can meet the keepers and learn more about the animals.

Sea Life Aquariums

Sea Life Aquariums across Australia are live streaming feeding times for their marine life including their penguins, stingrays, sharks and turtles. Visit their Facebook pages for information on daily feeding times and other scheduled activities, workshops and educational sessions.

Museums Victoria
